Fall sailing begins the week after school starts and ends with gear and boat cleaning, moving, and pizza on the Monday following the last regatta of the season, typically the last weekend in October or early November.

Spring sailing begins the first week of March after a month of twice-weekly team workouts. Practices are MWF + weekend regattas or Saturday practices if no regattas.

PRACTICES are typically Mondays 2:15-5:45 PM and Wednesdays/Fridays 3:45-5:45 PM (until 6:15 after daylight saving time in spring). Some Fridays sailors will come in early to load boats for regattas, which will be nearly every weekend September through October and the 1st weekend in November (fall season), and March through May and the 1st weekend in June (spring season).

The team sails in Eagle Harbor and they can often be seen rigging the boats on a float after school.

The team is making excellent progress in boat handling, communication skills, and knowledge of strategy, tactics, and rules; most of all, everyone has fun being on the water together!

Regattas + Competitions

The Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (NWISA) posts our regatta schedule, NORs, and results. Please note that our team will not necessarily attend all of the regattas listed on the schedule.
