'Raising the Sail'

The 4th annual "Raising the Sail" Advance 420 Racing Clinic welcomed 55 sailors from across the New England region.  We would like to thank our wonderful and talented coaches for their awesome instruction and feedback to these young sailors.  Back for his fourth year was 2 Time US Team Race Champion Tim Fallon, who was accompanied by 2nd year clinic coach, 3 time BU All-American, and 2 Time US Team Race Teammate of Fallon, Tim Wadlow.  Also joining the coaching staff, and back for her 4th year as well, was SailTrim 's Nutritionists Jennifer Lyn Langille.  Last, but certainly not least, and joining the clinic for her first year was Karen Renzulli.  Program Director at Wianno Yacht Club, 2 Time World Team Race Champion and 3 Time US Team Race Champion, added even more instruction on the crew level.  All sailors were greated with Goodie Bags filled with donated prizes extending from flip flops from Vineyard Vines, duffle bags from West Marine, hats from The Black Dog and many many more items donated by local businesses.  The Barnstable Sailing booster would like to thank all our our donors and sponsor that made this year's clinic a special event.  For a list of all our donors, please check out the "Our Sponsors" page.  We look forward to next year's clinic.
